All-rounders dominated in the Al-Turki 40-over Main League matches of the EPCA recently. The championship, organized by Eastern Province Cricket Association, is sponsored by Al-Turki.
Premier Division
Pan Gulf Cricket Club outplayed Bilal Tigers CC by 7 wickets. Batting first, BTCC made 167 in 33 overs. Abdul Waheed scored 54 off 62. Sajid Khan grabbed 3 wickets. In reply, PGCC chased the target in 15 overs. Abdul Wahab blasted 55 off 22. Zeeshan, Bilal and Tariq claimed 1 wicket each.
In another match, Intelligent Honda defeated Khobar Gymkhana Karachi Strikers CC by 2 runs. Batting first, IHCC posted 299-6. Mohsin Nawaz made 139 off 110 balls and Zain 51 off 65. Ubaid and Rizwan claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, KGKSCC was restricted to 297-8. Arsalan Ahsan scored 124 off 114 and Rizwan 64 off 27. Majid, Kashif and Zain grabbed 2 wickets each. Fireox Unit CC won against Pak Saudi CC by 50 runs. FUCC put on 333-7 in 40 overs. Hammad made 85 off 70 and Zeeshan 56 off 40 and Umair 50 off 34. Shahbaz claimed 3 wickets. PSCC was restricted to 283. Rizwan scored 108 off 85 and Ali Cheema 58 off 55. Naveed grabbed 3 wickets.
AAC CC defeated SAQ Hunters CC by 36 runs. AACCC batted first and tallied 232-9. Ayub smashed 55, Mazoor 45 and Saeed 38. Asif grabbed 3 wickets. In reply, SHCC was restricted to 287-8. Qayyum made 107 and Azam 52. Yasin claimed 4 wickets.
In another match, Marooj Stars CC won against Honda Redbacks CC by 4 wickets. Batting first, HRCC posted 262. Asif Ali scored 77 off 65 and Mubeen Khan 43 off 30. Nadeem claimed 4 wickets and Shahid 3. In reply, MSCC chased the target in 35 overs. Waheed Malik scored 119 off 90 and Asif 63. Umair claimed 2 wickets.
Prime Division
Tamimi CC defeated PIA Falcons CC by 108 runs. Tamimi, batting first, recorded 339-8. Umer hit 63, Naqash 60, Mohsin 56 and Aqeel 47. In reply, PIA Falcons were bundled out for 231. Asghar grabbed 3 wickets.
Bin Delamah Yorker CC won against Zalmi United CC by 65 runs. BDYCC made 369-6. Tanweer smashed 130 and Nabeel 119. Umair, Javed and Bilawal grabbed 2 wickets each. ZUCC was restricted to 304-10. Salman scored 66 and Imran 47. Soharab grabbed 3 wickets.
Index Emerald Ashes CC won against On Dot Freight CC by 9 runs. IEACC made 269-7. Mahesh belted 72 and Nafsal 56. Parvez took 3 wickets. ODFCC was restricted to 260-8. Salman Bukhari scored 103. Shiyad grabbed 4 wickets.
