All-rounders steal the show

The Al-Turki 40-over Main League of the EPCA produced some interesting matches recently. The championship, organized by Eastern Province Cricket Association, is sponsored by Al-Turki.
Premier Division
Pan Gulf Cricket Club outplayed Pak Saudi CC. Batting first, PGCC made 348-5. Abdul Wahab smashed 213 off 132 balls and Kashif hit a well-complied 78. Shoeib grabbed 3 wickets. In reply, PSCC was restricted to 280-10 in 34 overs. Nasir contributed 64 off 40 deliveries. Muqeem Ali was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets.
In another match, Khobar Gymkhana Karachi Strikers CC defeated Honda Redbacks CC by 7 wickets. Batting first, HRCC posted 277-7. Once again the duo of Mubeen Khan and Mohammad Rashid made 62 and 57, respectively. Umair Ashraf took 3 wickets. In reply, KGKSCC chased the target in 21 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Rizwan Samra played a fine knock of 175 runs, well supported by Shoaib Khan (56 not out). Aamir Sohail grabbed 3 wickets.
Bilal Tigers CC won against SB Dilnawaz CC. BTCC made 308 in 39.2 overs. Amjad Butt smashed 74 off 55 and Abdul Waheed crafted 72 off 75. Zegham Abbas and Rehan claimed 3 wickets each. SBDCC was restricted to 284-9. Usman Malik blasted 81 off 57 and Kashif Mehar 56 off 45. Tariq Tanweer grabbed 5 wickets.
SAQ Hunters CC defeated DHL Express CC in a thrilling encounter. DHLECC batted first and tallied 255-9. Ahmad Ali smashed 81, Sadoon 57 and Haziq 27. Asif grabbed 5 wickets. In reply, SHCC chased the target in 35.4 overs. Qayyum made 131 and Ifthikar 65. Nasir claimed 3 wickets.
Prime Division
Tamimi CC defeated Bin Delamah Yorkers CC by 5 wickets. BDYCC, batting first, was skittled out for 232. Ameen scored 78 and Usman 42. Asghar Altaf and Sumair Abbasi took 3 wickets each. In reply, Tamimi won the match in 34.5 overs. Aqeel top scored with 107 off 67 balls. Kashif Butt took 2 wickets.
On Dot Freight CC posted 304-9 and won by 43 runs against PIA Falcons CC. Umar Bilal blasted 66 and Shijil made 57. Fahad claimed 5 wickets. PFCC was restricted to 261 in 36.4 overs as Ubed made 121. Mohammad Ibrahim grabbed 5 wickets.
Team ECI SSQ CC won against Zalmi United CC by 10 runs. TESCC made 236-9. Frasat Ali hit 75 off 94 and Raja Nadeem belted 45 off 27. Bilawal claimed 5 wickets. ZUCC was restricted to 236-9. Javed blasted 130 off 107 and Mudassar 45 off 33. Usman grabbed 3 wickets, Frasat and Qamar claimed 2 wickets each.
First Division
Gisco CC defeated Cameron CC by 3 wickets. Batting first, CCC posted 275, helped by a brilliant 97 by Sameen Khan. Umar claimed 6 wickets. In reply, GICC CC chased the target in 38 overs, powered by an excellent 111 by Abdul Mannan Malik. Sameen and Shahid grabbed 2 wickets each.
Khobar Rangers CC won against mighty Adpco Friends CC by 5 wickets. Batting first, AFCC was all out for 173. Sultan made 28. Waqas grabbed 4 wickets. In reply, KRCC reached the target in 36 overs as Khatib compiled 53 off 82 and Faisal finished off in style by hitting 47 not out. Javeed grabbed 2 wickets.
In another match, Snamprogetti CC defeated Royal Kashmir CC by 200 runs. Batting first, SNCC posted 305-4. Once again, the duo of Waheed and Ahsan made 97 and 105, respectively. Junaid took 2 wickets. In reply, RKCC was bundled out for 105 in 20 overs. Khawar Jalil and Ali Mehdi grabbed 3 wickets.
