MADINAH — Police in Madinah found a 25-year-old woman who was kidnapped by three African men while she was walking to a mall near her house. The men had demanded a SR500,000 ransom for her release. A Madinah Police spokesman said the kidnappers forced the woman in the car and sped away. They took her to the house of an African woman who did not speak Arabic, located in the Al-Jarf neighborhood, and left her there for four days. However, when they learned that police were searching for her, they set her free and dropped her off at a gas station in the same neighborhood. Police officers found her and took her home. Her husband reported her missing after she left the house last Wednesday and did not return. When he called her cellphone, he heard her crying for help. Another man then took her cell phone and told the man his wife had been kidnapped and that he should pay SR500,000 if he wanted to see her again. Madinah Police spokesman Col. Fahd Al-Ghanam said police are still searching for the men. Police are currently questioning a man in connection with the kidnapping.
