JEDDAH — Five Civil Defense teams attended a fire at a Jeddah shopping mall in the Al-Jamiah neighborhood on Saturday night. Spokesman for Makkah Civil Defense Col. Saeed Bin Sarhan said the mall was immediately evacuated and the electricity cut off. Police patrols and the Red Crescent were also present and assisted in the evacuation. Smoke was sucked out to ventilate the area and allow firefighters to deal with the fire. No injuries were reported. The fire started in a women's clothing shop.
