MADINAH — A youth in his 20s stabbed to death a 50-year-old man during a meeting called to mend relations between two families. The young man stabbed the victim in his chest and neck in the heat of an argument, causing the latter to die before reaching hospital. Spokesman for Madinah police Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam said security officers surrounded the area and arrested the alleged assailant. The Red Crescent transported the elderly man to hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police detained the assailant's family members for questioning.
