Naif Ali Saudi Gazette MADINAH — The Civil Defense in Madinah succeeded in rescuing a four-year-old girl who fell into a 60-meter deep abandoned well on Wednesday night. Rehab Al-Oufi fell into the well at around 6 p.m. in Al-Qasba village, 15 kilometers north of Henakiya. Civil Defense teams rushed to the location with heavy machinery and used infrared cameras in the well to get a better view of the girl and supplied her with oxygen to keep her alive. Despite the difficult terrain, the Civil Defense managed to get her out quickly. Madinah Emir Prince Faisal Bin Salman was in touch with the Civil Defense crew at the location and was updated minute by minute until the girl was rescued. Prince Faisal contacted her father over the phone and expressed relief that his daughter was safe. The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and was reported to be in good health as she had sustained only minor injuries.
