Two workers died and six others were injured when they fell into an unfinished sewage canal on the Jamea Road in Madina Saturday. Col. Talal Al-Harbi, Civil Defense spokesman in Madina, said Civil Defense rescuers have recovered the bodies of the two workers while efforts are being made to locate the other six. Al-Harbi said about 20 Civil Defense rescuers rushed to the scene immediately after receiving a report, and provided machinery for searching and digging.
