JEDDAH — The Pakistan International School — English Section (PISJ-ES) have once again emerged on top of the academic ladder. PISJ-ES students have been declared top achievers for their exceptional performance in the Cambridge International Examination (CIE). The school principal and Senator of Pakistan, Sehar Kamran, said: “I feel immense pleasure and dignified pride that once again PISJ is leading in the region with eight Cambridge Awards. Our students have setup a glorious record of outstanding results.” Abdul Rafeh Awan and Dawood Abdullah topped in Pakistan Studies in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams in Saudi Arabia. Shifa Khawaja and Minahil Saifullah bagged the top positions in economics and English as a Second Language (ESL) respectively in the IGCSE examinations in Jeddah. Narjis Fatima Premjee was declared a topper in Saudi Arabia in Business Studies and economics in Jeddah in the A level examinations. Azib Shahid and Ahmed Ali Shah will be given the “Overall Best” award for being the third best across four Cambridge A levels and second best across three Cambridge A levels respectively. The formal “Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards Ceremony” will be held on Sunday, Feb. 24.
