THE students of PISJ (Pakistan International School Jeddah) marked the results of the Board of Examinations at Cambridge University with the winning of six awards. “We feel immense pleasure and dignified pride to inform that once again PISJ-ES is leading in the region with six Cambridge Awards. Our students have set up a glorious record of outstanding results. The University of Cambridge announced the ‘Cambridge Outstanding Achiever Awards' via email on Jan. 8 and award-winning students will receive their awards in a ceremony organized by the British Council and Cambridge University on Jan. 19,” stated Sehar Kamran, the principal of PISJ. “Our heartiest congratulations to the award winning students, their parents and staff members.” The following students have been declared ‘top achievers' and have qualified for Cambridge International Examination (CIE) awards due to their exceptional performance in May/June 2010: Zain Ali Asif (IGCSE) – Top in Saudi Arabia in ESL (English as a Second Language) Farhan Khalid Hussain (A level) – Top in Saudi Arabia in Economics Huzaifa Abdur Rauf (A level) – Top in Jeddah in Accounting Syed Otaiba Imran (IGCSE) – High Achievement in Pakistan Studies Aisha Tariq (AS level) – First place, Best across three Cambridge AS levels Yousuf Ali Mansoor (A level) – First place, Best across four Cambridge A levels.
