AL-DARB — The principal of Atood Elementary and Intermediate Girls school in Al-Darb Governorate used physical force to break the bones in a student's hand while disciplining her. The student was apparently late for the morning lineup. She was examined by Al-Darb General Hospital which confirmed that a bone in her thumb was broken. The girl's uncle has demanded the intervention of the Minister of Education to investigate the incident. The Director of Al-Darb Educational Directorate, Ali Humood, said that they have not received any reports regarding the incident. However, he will send an educational supervisor to the school to question the principal.
