JEDDAH – Bakhashab Brothers Co. launched its new 2013 Isuzu D-Max known as “the legendary light commercial truck” in a big event held at Leylaty Ballroom Jeddah. It was attended by top officials, headed by the Consul General of Japan in Jeddah, along with individuals from the auto industry, among others. The event was also attended by representatives from the Bakhashab Brothers Co, including, Sheikh Hisham Khalid Bakhashab, President of Bakhashab Brothers Co.; Mohammed Khalid Bakhashab, Vice President of Bakhashab Brothers Co.; in addition to a delegation from Japan led by Shinsuke Minami, Managing Director of Isuzu Motors International operations Thailand Co. Ltd; Yasushi Kusaka, President of Isuzu Motors Middle East FZE and Toru Nakai, President of Isuzu Motors Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd. The launch was made after a historic success attained by the reputed car, priding itself in its premium design, powerful performance and above all, the world's trust, especially after launching the first generation in 2002 when Isuzu has shifted the pickup plant from Japan to Thailand. Since then, Isuzu has been exclusively mastering the title of “The Legendary light commercial trucks.” At the ceremony, Sheikh Hisham expressed his pride and gratitude, considering the festival a new addition and another milestone featured by the successful production launch of the new-generation of Isuzu D-Max that not only responds perfectly to one's daily lifestyle requirements but also suits everybody's business needs as well. “Apart from its smart appearance and sporty trends, this car enjoys a solid performance which makes us confident that all of you will be completely satisfied with this new initiative from Isuzu,” Sheikh Hisham added. He also disclosed Isuzu's start of the production process in its new factory in Dammam last month, sating that “this successful beginning was demonstrated by introducing different models of trucks that are displayed here. We are really proud of our Saudi made premium vehicles, comparing and competing on equal terms with their Japanese counterpart.” The all-new Isuzu D-Max expresses an impressive level of advanced technology. The 4JK1-TC 2.5 liter engine attains 109HP/280Nm and spuriously responds to all needs of the pick-up lovers. As the new advanced chassis provides superior balance, performance and stability, the 5 speed automatic transmission boosts driver pleasure, operational flexibility and lower fuel consumption.
