Bakhashab Brothers Holding Company, the authorized dealer for Isuzu Motors Ltd. in Saudi Arabia, held on Sunday the first draw on its ongoing marketing campaign in which anybody who bought a 2010 model Isuzu truck has the chance to win participate in the SR1 million promotion drive. The seven winners won SR50,000 each, they were: Al-Farhani Company, Tarek Abdulkarim Hamad, Abdullah Saad A'aseri, Abdo Ahmad Ali, Delta for Marketing, Aber Al-Sahra Company and Mohammed Radi Marzouk Al-Senani. The event was held at Isuzu trucks showroom in Madina Street. The next draws are scheduled in January and February next year. The company announced at the ceremony that it had maintained its dominant position as the leading trucks in Saudi Arabia in spite of the economic recession. Hisham Khalid Bakhashab, president, Bakhashab Brothers Holding Company, noted that “these are tough times around the world, especially for the automotive business. But in spite of that, Isuzu trucks have continued to perform extremely well in Saudi Arabia. Isuzu maintained its 80 percent market share in the ultra-competitive light truck segment, and we at Bakhashab exceeded our internal sales targets by 27 percent overall, proving that - more than ever - Isuzu trucks are the most reliable, hard-working, value-providing trucks for Saudi companies, private businessmen and individual truck users of all ages and professions.” Since its launch in January 2009, the new, dominant Reward N-series light duty trucks - popularly known as the “Super Jumbo” series in Saudi Arabia - have been successfully marketed. In addition, Bakhashab Brothers Holding Co. has marketed Isuzu's sturdy F-series medium-duty trucks and the heavy-duty C&E series haulers, as well as the company's biggest sellers, Isuzu D-MAX pickups. Bakhashab Brothers Holding also announced its continued interest in professional motor sports, especially in the rallies associated with Saudi Arabia. The Bakhashab team's professional rally driver, Majid Al Ghamdi, was introduced to guests, as well as team leader Abdul Rahman Al-Haraki, alongside an Isuzu D-MAX 4x4 truck racer. “We won 5th and 7th places in our first outing at the Hail Rally in January,” Hisham Bakhashab said. “We'll be back at the Hail Rally in February of 2010, and we're determined to win this time. “But there's a bigger goal than winning behind our rally efforts,” Hisham Khalid Bakhashab noted. “We want to boost motor sports overall in the Kingdom, and share our passion and excitement with the youth of Saudi Arabia, who are already some of the most dedicated car and truck fans in the world.”
