Border guards seize 182 kg of hashish

JAZAN — The border guards in Jazan kept a boat under watch as it entered regional waters. The boat docked at Beesh coast where the Border Guard patrols were waiting. Spokesman for the Jazan Border Guard Col. Abdullah Bin Mahfooz said a delivery truck was waiting for the boat. As soon as the boat docked, the vehicle pulled alongside and sacks were being loaded from the boat to the vehicle. The border guards tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver sped away. The vehicle was pursued and its tires flattened by gunfire. The truck's fuel tank caught fire, but the driver escaped. The border guards found 182 kg of hashish in the vehicle.
