Smugglers arrested and hashish seized

Authorities in Al-Aflaj arrested a Saudi and a Yemeni on Sunday found in possession of 140 kg of hashish. The drugs were discovered hidden in sacks of rice aboard a truck destined for Riyadh. In Najran the same day, an undisclosed number of smugglers were arrested and 90kg of hashish seized by the authorities. In Dhahran Al-Junoub the Border Guard arrested one person of unknown identity attempting to smuggle into the Kingdom seven kilograms of hashish, while another smuggler spotted by infra-red cameras was detained while in possession of 31 kg of hashish.
