TAIF — In an attempt to draw public attention and exercise pressure on his sponsor to grant him an exit-re-entry visa, an Arab expatriate in Taif on Wednesday climbed a tall pole in a street and threatened to jump. Civil Defense rescuers were able to persuade the expatriate to come down from the pole. He was then arrested and referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution for disturbing the public.
