RIYADH — Robert Aaron, Amaan-ur-Rahman, Mahima Venkat and Rishitha Erra won singles titles in their respective categories at the recently-concluded 2nd NMEIS Table Tennis Academy Tournament here. After the finals, chief guest Tabassum Farooqi, Patron of NMEIS Table Tennis Academy, distributed the prizes. Venkateshwaran welcomed the guests, invitees and participants. Farooqi congratulated and applauded all the participants for their remarkable and disciplined performance throughout the tournament. She especially praised all the younger participants who displayed excellent performances. Competitions were conducted for Cadet Boys Singles, Cadet Girls Singles, U-19 Boys (singles and team), U-19 Girls (singles and team), and Non-Cluster Boys Singles. In all, 624 matches were played, including a mammoth 380 matches in the Non-Cluster Boys Singles. Final results: U-19 Boys Singles: 1. Robert Aaron, 2. Amaan-ur-Rahman. Mahima Venkat, 2. Sahiti Mantena. U-19 Girls Team: 1. Saher Fatima, Naaz Amina, 2. Manaal Mufti and Haadia Mufti. Cadet Girls Singles: 1. Rishitha Erra, 2. Safia Mufti. Non-Cluster Boys Singles: 1.
