Alireza Food Services Co. Ltd., exclusive McDonald's franchisee for the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, announced the opening of two new restaurants; the third restaurant to open in Taif, Faisaliah, and second restaurant in the city of Jizan, bringing the total to 54 restaurants in the Western Region of the Kingdom. Children and families enjoyed a number of recreational activities hosted at the new restaurant, and gifts were distributed to visitors by the McDonald's characters. Mohammed Alireza, Marketing Manager of Reza Food Services - McDonald's Development Licensee for the Western and Southern regions of Saudi Arabia, said “as we are part of the Saudi society, the new restaurant opening reiterates our strong presence in the region and our commitment to our McDonald's fans by providing the highest quality and standards that they have grown accustomed to.” He added “Taif is one of the most prominent touristic cities in the Kingdom, and this led us to make sure our expansion plans made it more convenient for customers across the city, as well as to fortify our investment in the local Saudi economy.” On the subject of design, Alireza said “the unique design of our new restaurants reflects the effort by McDonald's to continuously aspire to the highest standards of quality while remaining modern, relevant and in tune with what our customers expect.” McDonald's continued the celebrations for five days of fun activities, including face painting, arts and crafts, and games for visitors to enjoy.
