JEDDAH – McDonald's last week hosted children and parents from Al Bir Charity at its Thalia restaurant where they enjoyed breakfast and fun activities which included face painting and games with McDonald's characters. The event is one of many community initiatives planned by McDonald's Western Region this year and marks McDonald's ongoing commitment to supporting local organizations. Mohammed Alireza, Marketing Manager of Reza Food Services, McDonald's Development Licensee for the Western and Southern regions of Saudi Arabia, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this fantastic group of people at our restaurant today. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but is often overlooked. We wanted to take this opportunity to sit down, relax and enjoy other's company over a warm, satisfying meal. It has been a wonderful way to start the day.” Alireza added: “Today's event has been a wonderful chance for McDonald's Western Region to develop relationships with some truly special people while giving a little something back to the communities we serve on a daily basis. We're looking forward to making this an ongoing event.” – SG
