JEDDAH — A unique multi-cultural musical event, organized by an Indian community organization DESI Entertainers, proved a big draw.
The event titled “Rowdy Adda" was held at a local restaurant on Thursday here. The program, one of its kinds, brought talent from several nations on a single stage.
Participants from Saudi Arabia, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Sudan, Yemen, Egypt and Palestine were on center stage.
“Rowdy Adda" was the theme of the event, showcasing different types of rowdies from all over the globe.
Mohammed Al Mohammedi, founder of DESI Entertainers, and Saudi Badar Mufti hosted the event.
The curtain opened with a 12-year-old Indian girl Sajini Saleem singing a Bollywood song. It was followed by a heart-pumping dance by young brothers Farhan and Faraz Ahmed to the Indian number of “Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita."
Rehanna Saleem another talented Indian singer mesmerized the audience by singing three songs in Hindi, Arabic and Pashto.
Saudi Arabia's newest sensation Mohammed Al Ahdal was a part of this multi-cultural event and sang three melodious Arabic songs, one of which was “Akid ya hayati."
Sara Khan of Bangladesh caught the eye with her funky and melodious voice when she sang the item songs “Dhinka chika" and “Munni Badnam hui."
Donna Nagoy, who has been wowing the Filipino community in the Kingdom, sang three English songs in her melodious voice, especially “My Immortal" by Evanescence and “My Heart Will Go On" from the movie Titanic.
Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Nagoy said: “It was nice to see people from many nations performing together. It is a start of something new and it was dynamic."

“It was something different. Many cultures coming together at one place was like seeing different colors and it was nice," said Al Ahdal.
Hafiz aka Heart Broken Kid (HBK) sang a vocal self-compilation of sad songs without music and showcased his talent.
HKGO a dance group of seven members from Philippines performed various dance numbers and amazed the audience with the sensational “Michael Jackson dance" and “Gangnam style".
