Crown Steel and Hala Gems score wins

JEDDAH — Crown Steel and Hala Gems scored convincing wins over their rivals in the sixth week of action in the CMDA tournament here recently.
Crown Steel scored a 2 wicket win over AOT GFC. Batting first, AOT GFC scored 206-8. Faisal Mehmood hammered 8 fours and 2 sixes to compile 61 off 31 balls, while Ilyas added 34 as the two added 87 runs for the first wicket. Qaim Khan made 39. Abid Naseem took 3-27, Fahad 3-35 and Abuhuraira claimed one. Crown Steel, in reply, was home with 210-8 in 118 balls. Aftab Khan blasted 5 fours and 2 sixes to score 56 and Jafar made 42. Nasir Iqbal took 2-19, Sulaiman 2-37 and Kashif 2-40. One wicket each went to Zeeshan and Imran.
My Care & Hala scored a technical win after its rival team IDBG walked out.
IDBG had already taken the first strike and scored 157-9.
The third match saw Hala Gems beat APF by 12 runs. Hala Gems, batting first, was bundled out for 153. Moazzam Shoukat scored 51 (6 fours and 3 sixes), Hashim Khan remained unbeaten on 23 while Imran Choudhry hit 21.
Nadeem grabbed 4-29, Arshad Choudhry 3-29, Abdulqayyum 2-41. APF's Khurram Karamat was in great touch as he hit a 26-ball 61 (3 sixes and 5 fours), while Awais made 25, but the lower order failed miserably and APF crumbled for 141. Amer Sajjd took 2-26, while one wicket was claimed by Asif.
