Police bust home distillery in Dammam

DAMMAM — Police in the Eastern Province busted a large home-based bootlegging operation in Dammam. Zeyad Al-Reqati, spokesman for the Eastern Province police, said officers busted the distillery after they received a tip-off from a citizen.
Undercover police officers placed the house where the distillery was allegedly located under surveillance. When police noticed unusual activity at the residence, a team carried out a raid and arrested 10 bootleggers red-handed. They have been handed over to the concerned authorities for processing.
