Bhatkal Warriors, Black Caps, Mughal, Maestro and Star XI win matches

RIYADH — Bhatkal Warriors, Black Caps, Mughal, Maestro and Star XI scored thrilling wins in the PSI T-20 cricket tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket League here recently.
Imtiaz, Mushtaq hit centuries, while Kashif, Junais, Faiz, Sirajuddin, Mansoor, Sanaullah and Muddasar scored fifties and Saqib Memon and Bilal displayed wonders with the ball.
In the fist match, Bhatkal Warriors beat Cyberoam by 1 run. Batting first, Bhatkal made 175. Mudassar scored 71 runs, Sameer 37 and Naseef 27. Atif Aslam claimed 41-3. In reply, Cyberoam began briskly, but fell short by one run. It could only score 176-6 through Waheed 44, Umer 35 and Zeeshan 36.
Musaddaque 2-23, Afaque 2-29 and Safwan 2-31 were the pick of the bowlers.
In the Second match, Star-X1 defeated Indian strikers by 66 runs. Batting first, Star-X1 made 267-2, Imtiaz played an outstanding innings of 131 not out (18 boundaries and 2 sixes). Kashif added 53 and manzoor 43. Anees took 2-40.
In reply, Indian strikers could score only 201 for the loss of three wickets. Junais and Faiz scored 82 and 56 runs, respectively, while Sunil hit 30. Abbas claimed 2-36.
In the third match, Mughal Cricket Club beat Falcons by 33 runs. Taking the strike first, Mughal scored 203-4. Mushtaq played magnificently and scored 130, while Javed added 34. Faik took 2-37. In reply, Falcon could muster only 170 though Sirajuddin (78) and Zahid Rizvi (38). Sami bagged 3-24, while Sajjad Shah claimed 2-25 and Javed 2-33.
In the fourth Match, Black Caps beat Konkan by 7 wickets. Batting first, Konkan made 161-5. Mansoor was the top-scorer with 56, Faheem added 31 and Majeed 30. Bilal bowled well and claimed 4-17, while Afaque bagged 2-30 and Muqeem 2-28. In reply, Black Caps reached the target in the 18th over for the loss of 3 wickets. Sanaullah scored 57, while Abid hit 34 and Bilal 20. Siraj took 2-38.
The fifth match saw Maestro beat Cricketers by 40 runs. Batting first, Maestro made 159-6. Jamaluddin Khan scored 41, Riyaz Qureshi 29 and Shoaib Shah 27. Zeeshan took 3-20. In reply, Cricketers could reach only 119-9. Zeeshan Khan scored 44 and Shafiq 25. Saqib Memon took 4-24 and Abdullah Khan 3-7.
