Falcon Cricket Club beat Stallions Cricket Club by 31 runs in a Power Zone T-20 Cricket Tournament match organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) here recently. Batting first Falcon made 249 runs in 20 overs. Nazim Siddiqui hit a century (13 fours and 3 sixes). He was well-supported by Zahid Rizwi (61), Atif (37). Amir, Imran and Shams took one wicket each. Stallions in reply was only able to put on 216 runs. Imran Jutt made 63 runs, while Amir added 56 and Yasir 36. Sajjad, Shuail and Sirajuddin took two wickets each. Nazim Siddiqui was declared the Man of the Match. The second match saw Karachi Titans beat Cricketers Club by 58 runs. Batting first Karachi Titans made 189 runs in 20 overs. Rizwan scored 58 runs, Afaq 50 and Feroz 32. Cricketers Club was bowled out for 131 runs. Rizwan of Karachi Titans took three wickets, while Afaq and Feroz took one each. Rizwan was declared the Man of the Match for his all-round performance. In the third match, Gujranwala Cricket Club beat Riyadh Sports Club by 55 runs. Batting first, Gujranwala made 232 runs. Usman Ashraf scored 128 runs (15 fours), while Umar Butt added 60. In reply Riyadh Sports Club was bundled out for 177. Ashraf took three wickets and Afzal two. Usman Ashraf picked up the Man of the Match honor. The fourth match saw Black Caps beat Kashmir Press. Batting first Kashmir Press made 120 runs. Zafar Iqbal made 39 runs and Asif 24. Zeshan Alvi and Muqeem took two wickets each. Black Caps achieved the target in nine overs. Sanaullah of Black Caps made 62 runs and Abid 39. Sanaullah was declared the Man of the Match. Another match saw Super Cricket Club beat Royal Fighters by 59 runs. Super put on a target of 213 runs in 20 overs. Abid (56) and Adnan (48) put on a 100-run opening partnership. Shafeeq made 55 runs. Hanif took three wickets. Royal Fighters could score only 154 runs. Galha made 39, Nasif 33 and Shariq 22. Baber took six wickets and Abdulmajeed three. Baber was declared the man of the match. The T-20 tournament is sponsored by Power Zone Group, whose CEO Mamoor Elahi kicked off the event by hitting a ceremonial shot. Jawad Khalifa, Patron of RCL, was also present on the occasion along with the league's senior members. Speaking on the occasion Elahi said he was very happy to see the youth play sport and wished to see more Saudi youths come forward to take up cricket.
