RIYADH – Riyadh's most famous outdoor dining destination comes alive this October with the sizzle and spice of true Texan and Mexican cuisine at Hotel Al Khozama's annual TexMex Food Festival. Taking place on the lush green lawns of the Garden Barbeque from October 2 — 18, the festival comes alive in the idyllic outdoor setting that is transformed into a true TexMex ranch complete with hay bales, wagon wheels, cowboys and cacti. The mist cooled of welcomes awaits guests from the minute they arrive, with a lively atmosphere, American Western and Mexican music and the irresistible aromas of hickory smoked barbeque grills to transport guests to the heart of the South. The TexMex Food Festival promises a feast of Southern favorites. The menu created by Chef Juan A. Rosado, from Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas, includes everything from freshly grilled steaks, chicken and shrimps, to fajitas, quesadillas and tacos, and an awe-inspiring array of side dishes, sweet delights and traditional refreshments. Adding to the festive feel, the TexMex Food Festival includes a host of fun and engaging activities for guests, including country line dancing, entertaining movies, Mexican instrumental music and engaging activities for the younger members of the family. “The TexMex Food Festival is a must-attend event for Riyadh families and visitors. There is no better place to enjoy October's fine weather, the finest American and Mexican cuisine, and the best entertainment in town than at this year's TexMex Food Festival,” said Erich Steinbock, Regional Vice President, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and Managing Director of Al Faisaliah Hotels and Hotel Al Khozama.
