Munwarunissa Nazneen Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Al Faisal International School celebrated the Saudi National Day with gusto on September 24. The staff and students belonging to different nationalities came dressed in green and white. A special assembly was conducted for the National Day, where everyone made special prayers for the prosperity of the Kingdom and the well-being of Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah. The national flag was also hoisted to honor the country that has given so much to its residents. Students were also shown a small documentary that enlightened them about the glorious past and the promising future of the country. The assembly was presided by the school's director, principal, coordinators and supervisors. They delivered short speeches in which they spoke about the importance of the National Day and the responsibilities that all its residents need to shoulder. The assembly came to an end with the students jubilantly singing the Saudi national anthem.
