The Saudi National Day was celebrated with great fervor by the students and teachers of Obhur International School, Jeddah in their school premises on September 24. The students and staff were dressed in green and white to resemble the Saudi flag. The celebrations began with the recitation of a few verses from the Qur'an followed by the hoisting of the Saudi flag by the school Directress Fatima Salihue who was accompanied by Principal Tahani Sifai. The students whole-heartedly sang the Saudi national anthem after which, a student shed light on the history and culture of Saudi Arabia. She also spoke at length about the developments taking place in the country. The students then sang a song praising the country and the king. — SG
