JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia and Kuwait signed a civil aviation agreement Monday increasing to 77 the flight frequencies between the two countries. The agreement was signed by the Kuwaiti President of Civil Aviation Fawaz Abdulaziz Al-Farah and Vice President of Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation Faisal bin Hamad Al-Sugair. The accord stipulates that each side can run 77 flights weekly to and from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, in addition to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah, in addition to seven air cargo flights weekly, said Al-Farah in remarks to KUNA. Kuwait Airways, Jazeera, Saudi Airline and NAS, will currently benefit from the agreement – in addition to other airlines that will be operated in the future. The agreement calls for setting up a modern framework for exchanging the transportation rights, and facilities in the field of civil aviation. – KUNA
