The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey signed here today a new bilateral agreement to regulate air transport between the two countries. The agreement was signed here today by President of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Rahimi and Turkish Director General of Civil Aviation Ali Ariduru. The most significant provisions of this agreement are to increase the number of regular flights between the two countries to 56 weekly flights for passengers and 14 cargo flights. The provisions also include to allow Saudi Air Carriers to conduct flights to Ankara, Istanbul, Adana and Antioch, as well as Turkish Air Carriers to send flights to Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Al Madinah.
