Abdulrahman Al-Ali Saudi Gazette JEDDAH – Jeddah Police have arrested a Somali woman for allegedly stabbing her husband to death. The woman allegedly fled the scene after the crime. A male relative of the victim discovered the crime when he visited his home and saw the man lying in a pool of blood. He did not find the victim's wife at home. The relative immediately reported the matter to security authorities who rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area, lifted fingerprints and inspected the location meticulously. Meanwhile, the wife's disappearance raised questions. Investigations revealed that the couple recently had a heated argument which also turned violent. The reports on disputes made the wife main suspect. On a tip-off, security personnel found the wife at the residence of one of her relatives. She was taken into custody. Under sustained interrogation, the wife broke down and admitted to the murder. She said she took the law into her hands after a heated argument between the two. She said she had suspected that the man wanted to marry another woman, Brig. Gen. Misfer Al-Je'aid, spokesman of Jeddah Police, said.
