A man in his thirties stabbed his wife to death with a kitchen knife in Al-Jamiah District Friday morning. The woman was stabbed seven times and died before reaching a private hospital. The man reportedly became enraged following an argument. Apparently he tried to help his wife who was bleeding profusely and called her relatives who lived nearby. Police found the knife under the stairs of the house. According to Jeddah Police spokesman, Colonel Misfer Al-Jo'aid, the husband was arrested immediately after the incident and is currently being interrogated. “The husband refused to tell the police the reasons behind the murder. He only mentioned that they were discussing personal issues,” added Al-Jo'aid. __
