RIYADH – Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) announced that United Electronics Company (eXtra) has joined its list of strategic partners in the Neqaty program. Mobily's COO Abdul Aziz Al Tamami and eXtra Communication and Public Relations Manager Ibrahim Hashim Bin Hashim signed the strategic partnership at Mobily headquarters in Riyadh. Mobily said the new agreement will enable Mobily customers to redeem their accumulated points to purchase products from "eXtra", Saudi Arabia's fastest-growing consumer electronics and home appliance retailer. Founded in 2003, United Electronics Company (eXtra) operates a wide network of 28 stores in Damman, Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Kharj, Al Madinah, Jubail, Hafr Al Batin, Najran, Jizan, Onizah, Skaka and Taif. Mobily said it will continue supporting Neqaty program through a wide range of partners and vast options to meet the requirements and aspirations of its subscribers. "Partnership with eXtra is a positive step forward due to its vast networks of stores and excellent products and customer services" Mobily said in a statement. Neqaty rewards consist of two main types. Rewards from Mobily's services such as extra balance, free minutes, free SMS and free Internet services. The second type includes rewards from Neqaty partners who cover all types of commercial activities and meet the needs and requirements of Mobily subscribers in the Kingdom. The flexible program of Neqaty adds one point or more to the subscriber's account automatically for every riyal spent on Mobily services, all Mobily customers are automatically enrolled in the Neqaty program and they can redeem points through "Mpay" devices that are available in all partners outlet without the need of printed vouchers. – SG
