JEDDAH – In response to a directive from King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) launched a new charitable campaign to collect donations for Syria. The campaign, named "Support Our Brothers in Syria", aims to lessen the hardships that Syrian people face on a daily basis. As such, STC introduced a new line number (5565) to facilitate the donation process for any customers wishing to help. To donate SR10, customers need to send a text message containing the code (1) to (5565); to donate SR20, send (2); to donate SR30, send (3). The urgent funds are transferred immediately to Syrian people in correlation with the National Donations Campaign. SMS donations will commence along with the campaign today (July 23). – SG
