RIYADH — Riyadh Traffic Department succeeded in arresting a well-known joyrider named King Al-Fawaz. Police said the man has a long criminal record of stealing cars and then using them for stunt driving in the capital's Al-Fawaz neighborhood. The joyrider became famous when he started posting videos of his dangerous stunts on Youtube. When police received information on his whereabouts, they quickly cordoned off an area of Al-Fawaz neighborhood and eventually arrested the infamous joyrider who tried to elude capture by using a rental car. Police said he is being held until investigations are completed. Authorities have launched a crack down on joyriders and earlier this month, police in the Eastern Province announced that over 412 joyriders had been arrested in the province since the beginning of summer.
