A stupendous oath taking ceremony of the prefects was held in Pakistan International School,Riyadh Nasiriyah. A total of about 20 prefects were awarded badges by their prefect in-charge Hayat Ullah Mohmand. The head prefect, Faheem Rauf, with Qasim Ali Shah addressed the prefects. They enlightened them about the role and significance of the post after which, Mohmand selected the Prefect Selection Commission head (PSC). The PSC was created to keep a check on the prefects and their head. One of its members, Zain ul Abidin, was appointed as the head by an election held at school level. Mohmand advised the prefects to maintain order and discipline and to abide by the school laws. It was followed by an oath taking ceremony. The prefects gleefully took the oath behind the prefect in-charge. Headmaster Syed Afzaal Hussain Shah addressed the prefects saying it was the students efforts that made them pave the way for a successful future. In the end, the prefects sang the national anthem and treated themselves to hearty lunch. – SG
