JEDDAH – The Saudi Ministry of Labor honored Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) for the company's effort to support job creation in the Kingdom through sponsoring "Tawteen Job Exhibition 2012" which kicked off in Jeddah. Mobily has emerged strongly during the exhibition by showcasing its unique experience in the recruitment of young Saudis and the preservation of human capital in addition to its strategic plans in developing employees' skills through different specialized programs. Mobily said participation in such events reflects the strength of private sector programs in Saudi society, particularly since the Kingdom has the manpower to develop national economy and boost development which is being supported by Saudi government dedication toward Saudization of jobs in private sector. The exhibition has received a large number of Saudi jobseekers, with some 3,000 applications given to 100 companies participating in the exhibition within 5 hours after opening. Mobily said its participation in "Tawteen Job Exhibition" came to represent the company's strong belief in the national human resources, such as Mobily's golden sponsorship of the career day in King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, platinum sponsorship for the career day at the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in the US. – SG
