Abdulaziz Altamami, chief operating officer of Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), said its employees are the company's most valuable asset. At a keynote speech at the 4th Global Competitiveness Forum in Riyadh, he undelined Mobily's pioneering concept of caring for its employees, their needs and their aspirations, which he said is a “concept that Mobily was among the very first to adopt in the Middle East's and Arab world's corporate arena.” Altamami talked about the “We Care” program as a shining example of how management and employees can communicate openly and mutually respectfully, regardless of traditional rank and chain of command. He also discussed the role of continuous training and human development in Mobily's continuing success. Mobily was honored at the forum for its Ultimate and technological sponsorship. An honorary shield was conferred on it by Amr Al-Dabbagh, governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA). Mobily is a compelling competitiveness driver in its sector.
