Unidentified burglars attempted to remove an ATM machine from a bank east of Al-Kharj city, local media reported Saturday. The thieves tied the cash dispenser to a pickup truck with a rope and tried to pull it away. The attempt failed when a patrol unit spotted suspicious activity and approached the location. The thieves escaped and the police mounted a search operation to identify and arrest the culprits.
