An expatriate university lecturer was killed in a road accident on Tuesday on the Makkah-Taif highway, a local daily reported. The lecturer was driving at a high speed when he lost control of his car and hit the side of the road. The car overturned several times before it caught on fire. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The Traffic Department is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
