The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice busted a liquor den run by a group of African expatriates in the Um Al-Ees area in Taif. According to commission sources, a unit from the commission was touring the area when it noticed a strong smell of alcohol emanating from a private enclosure. When commission members stormed the place, they found two men and a woman and uncovered a small liquor factory. They seized 83 barrels and 500 liters of liquor and more than 400 bottles ready for distribution. The commission transferred the people arrested to police for further investigation.
