3.5 ton liquor distillery busted

Asir Police busted a liquor distillery on Bani Malik road that produced over 3.5 tons of liquor every day. An illegal Ethiopian immigrant carrying a pistol with 13 bullets was arrested at the scene.
Police seized over 3.5 tons of liquor (Araq), 100 bottles of Araq and several 18-liter barrels full of Araq.
Police and members of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice destroyed the liquor said Col. Abdullah Bin Ayidh Al-Qarni, spokesperson of Asir Police. – Okaz __
