day one-of-its-kind healthcare exhibition slated to open on June 17 at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events in Jeddah, has received a phenomenal response with over 50 percent of its exhibitors from international markets such as Australia, Brazil, UK, France, Germany, China, Korea, The Netherlands, among others, focusing on a wide array of medical sectors, including health, dentistry and ophthalmology. With an aim to significantly contribute to the Kingdom's vision in line with its Ninth Five-Year Plan, and in response to the high prevalence of lifestyle diseases including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, the MEDEXPO exhibition will focus on increasing awareness on issues related to healthcare, and improving economic and social development across the healthcare sector. The exhibition will also launch a medical forum to leverage opportunities for professionals from across the healthcare industry to discuss innovative solutions and best practices, in a move towards developing sustainable healthcare within Saudi Arabia. Samer Abu Ghazaleh, CEO of International Medical Center, said the gathering gives Saudi's healthcare leaders a chance to meet and share their ideas on how to deliver quality healthcare to the Kingdom's 26 million residents.
