ABC Cargo-Real Kerala FC held off Sharafiya Trading BCC to a goalless draw and squeezed into the First Division semifinals of the 16th SIFF-Western Union Soccer 2012 at the Ministry of Education Stadium here. With just three points from three draws Real Kerala FC joined Al-Bassami Friends (9 points) and Al-Abeer Medical Group ACC-A in the last four, leaving the fourth to be decided between BCC and Nadec Blue Star Sports A, who have just one point each. In the Second Division, BRC has bowed out of the tournament by completing the engagements, by losing the last match to ABC Kerala XI, 2-1. BRC has just one point from four matches whereas Kerala XI has four points from three matches and the second qualifier will be decided between Kerala XI and IISJ. ACC-B has already made the grade with nine points from three matches. ABC goals were scored by Adil Salam and Safwan. BRC reduced the margin through a beautiful volley by Firshad off a corner by Anoose. Yaser V of ABC was adjudged as the Player of the match. In the junior boys division, Al-Kasabi Travel Green Shore blanked AIWA by two goals to nil. The goals were scored by Player of the Match Shahud and Nihal. The Real Kerala and BCC encounter was a saga of missed chances. Abdul Rahman of Real Kerala was adjudged as the Player of the match.
