TETRA Pak, the world leader in food processing and packaging solutions, signed an agreement, valued at $$2.5 million, with Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. to install and field test the world's first high speed Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200 Sq Filling Line. The agreement between Tetra Pak and Al Rabie was signed in Germany on the sidelines of the world's largest food and beverage technology exhibition. Tetra Pak's Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200 Sq Filling Line technology offers a host of advantages, including packaging 24,000 juice cartons per hour. The new high-speed machine technology can do the job of three regular filling lines, allowing faster, more efficient use of resources. Tetra Pak Arabia has a major production facility in Jeddah and offices in GCC and Yemen. Tetra Pak supplied 6.7 billion packs in Arabia during 2011.
