First of its kind cap unveiled in Gulfood 2011

JEDDAH: Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co., one of the leading producers of juice, dairy and ready-to-eat food products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and one of the largest manufacturers in the Middle East, once again took a pioneering initiative by implementing "DreamCap" – a new addition to its 330 ml Prisma packaging – a first of its kind packaging system developed by Tetra Pak and unveiled during Al Rabie's participation at the ongoing Gulfood 2011 in Dubai that will culminate on March 11.
The new cap offers a host of advantages including healthier and cleaner products and an increasing ease of use. Replacing the previous "Pull Tab", the new "DreamCap" seems more suitable to the modern consumers' demands, as it will further boost the hygiene standards and also enable consumers to close the bottle and keep the contents good enough for later consumption.
Monther Al Harthi, CEO of Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. said: "Since our inception in the 1980, we have built a great reputation for offering quality and healthy products and successfully catering to the requirements of our growing customer base. Now after 30 years of hard work and commitment to excellence, we are proud to be the first company to adopt the innovative solution by Tetra Pak, the "DreamCap" for our 330 ml prisma paks. We are committed to continuous innovation and development so as to ensure a sustainable healthy product offering. We will continue to coordinate closely with our partners of success, especially Tetra Pak, to further develop and improve our products and ensure Health for All."
"At Tetra Pak, we provide a complete line of solutions from product reception to final treatment and packaging. Today we are introducing the new screw cap which will certainly prove to be a healthier option for the 330 ml bottles compared to the previous "Pull Tab". We have offered this new system to Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company which has started implementing it. We will continue to serve the industry to achieve the highest level of health and quality standards," said Charles Brand, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Product Manager of Tetra Pak.
