The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) expects rain until Thursday over the northwest and western regions of the Kingdom including Tabuk, Jizan, Madina and Makkah. In its report issued Tuesday, the PME said there was a likelihood of thunder and cumulus rain clouds over these areas. Medium to heavy downpours will likely be accompanied by active surface winds. The surface winds will affect horizontal visibility. It is also expected that medium to heavy rain will lash Hail, Qassim, Riyadh and the Eastern Province. The PME urged fishermen and highway motorists to be cautious in the unstable weather.
