A Sudanese man attempted to burgle the flat of the famous Egyptian actress Minna Chalabi, the actress and her mother, Zizi Mustafa reported. The mother-daughter duo said the Sudanese knocked the door ferociously and tried to break into their flat prompting them to raise an alarm. The police arrived at the scene and apprehended the criminal who maintained that he was just a fan of the actress and wanted to talk to her, denying that he had any criminal motives. The man lies in custody under the orders of the attorney general until he received a CID report about the person and the testimony of the actress.
