An Afghan and a Pakistani pickpockets were arrested here Friday. Their modus operandi, according to security sources, was to pour a strange fluid on their target outside the Prophet's Mosque making him go for ablution. Posing as helpers the duo would strip their target of all his valuable belongings. The Haram security force apprehended the duo after an elaborate plan. Lt. Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam, spokesperson of Madina Police, said a CID team arrested the alleged culprits red-handed while they were attempting to rob two Asians.
