Tat Kon Tou Open Karate and Kick Boxing Showdown” is set to roll at the Time Out Sport Academy (TOSA), Television St., Ghulil District, here from 8 P.M. to 11 P.M. Friday. Accoring to AMAF President Romeo “Boy” M. Buayan, a 6th Dan Black Belt (Shotokan Karate), 3rd Dan in Combat Aikido (Tapondo) and a Kung Fu expert, about 400 participants are expected to take part in the event which will be attended by Philippine Consul General Norman Uriel Garibay. The tournament is made possible through the Tat Kon Tou Martial Arts Academy and affiliated clubs, under the auspices of the Philippine Consulate General (Jeddah). The events to be contested are individual (kumite) and kata for junior and senior (boys and girls) up to black belt category, kumite (sparring) for junior and senior divisions (green, brown and black belt) as well as kick boxing as an added attraction. This tournament is principally sponsored by Abuljadayel Beverages Company, maker of Bison and Ceasar Juice, Symmetry, Danny Olata and friends of AMAF.
