Some 33 participants completed the 16th course entitled “Start your small project” under the “Irada” program at the National Entrepreneurship Institute, here recently. The participants will be entitled to get loans from the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank which supports small businesses. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Khalid, Manager of the Institute, congratulated the participants for passing the course successfully. He expressed his appreciation for their efforts which will enable them to benefit from the “Irada” program. The applicants are required to complete the registration process before being called for an interview. He said that the terms for receiving a loan are quite flexible: The applicant should be a Saudi national over 18 years of age and should not be associated with any commercial project. Al-Khalid added that the National Entrepreneurship Institute in Jeddah helps young people obtain loans so that they can become self-reliant. After the project is launched, the institute will monitor the participants for a period of one year after which they will be registered with the Human Resource Department and will receive a monthly grant of SR3,000 for two years.
