King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, swore in a number of new ambassadors on Monday at his palace in the capital city. The new appointees are: Prince Mansour Bin Khaled Bin Abdullah Al-Farhan, Ambassador to Spain; Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Saloum, Ambassador to Austria; Dr. Raed Khalid Qarmali, Ambassador to Greece and Muhammad Mahmoud Al-Ali, Ambassador to Libya. They all swore loyalty to the country. “We swear to be loyal to our religion and country and never divulge top secret information and perform our duties with honesty and loyalty.” King Abdullah congratulated them. “Thank you. It is your duty to serve the Saudi people. It's the duty of all of us. You must not delay providing services to any Saudi in distress or otherwise. There is no difference between a minister, a prince or a citizen. You must serve all and I will hold you accountable for negligence. I wish you all the best.” The King also urged national companies to merge so that they can implement major projects properly. This was while meeting Dr. Yousef Bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, Minister of Social Affairs and General Supervisor of Projects for the Displaced in Jizan, the work team of King Abdullah Development Project in Jizan and contractors.
